Three hundred pieces of world-renowned Herend porcelain are to be displayed at the “Herend: the Art of Hungarian Porcelain – Timeless elegance” exhibition in Madrid.
The Hungarian porcelain-focused exhibition will kick off next Tuesday at Madrid’s National Museum of Decorative Arts.
According to nlcafe.hu, this is the first time the Hungarian artefacts have made it to Spain since the manufacturer was founded 200 years ago.
Visitors can view more than 300 pieces of rare handcrafted porcelain, all descending from the legendary manufacturer over the past two centuries.
Reports state that the Hungarian embassy in Madrid helped organize the exhibition, where visitors can learn about the fascinating history of Herend as well as the technologies used in porcelain-making over time.
