Hidvéghi: Pro-immigration policies have led to rise in violence against women

Cities that have welcomed masses of migrants have seen a sharp rise in assault and violent crimes committed against women.

Balázs Hidvéghi, the parliamentary state secretary of the prime minister's cabinet office, said on Monday that pro-immigration policies pursued by Brussels and the left wing have led to a rise in violence against women.

Marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Hidvéghi said in a video posted on Facebook that cities that have welcomed masses of migrants have seen a sharp rise in assault and violent crimes committed against women, adding that there was a clear link between mass immigration and the number of assault cases.

He noted that Hungary has been warning of the dangers of immigration from the start.

"We said that unleashing migrants of different cultures onto Europe would have unforeseeable consequences," Hidvéghi said. "Yet they still did it and want to continue doing it. Brussels, the left, and the entire Soros network are constantly attacking the nationally minded government for not letting migrants in."

"They want to install a puppet government [in Hungary] that would carry out Brussels' orders and settle migrants in the country," the state secretary added.
