Hungary and Poland to create a chamber of commerce

Officials signed a document as a declaration of intent to support the project of creating a Polish–Hungarian chamber and to forge a partnership between the two institutions

A letter of intent to create a Polish-Hungarian chamber of commerce has been signed at the Polish–Hungarian Forum in Stary Sącz, South Poland.

According to Rmx.news, the document is a declaration of intent to support the project of creating a Polish–Hungarian chamber and to forge a partnership between the two institutions.

The main part of the Polish-Hungarian Forum was a plenary session “in the interest of increasing the standard of living in Central Europe” in which the Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński and the president of the commission for European affairs of the Hungarian National Assembly Richard Horcsik took part.

Kuchciński underlined the importance of Christianity in European civilization and freedom. “30 years ago we fought for and gained freedom. Without freedom, including the spiritual one, we cannot speak of a full form of prosperity. A market without soul is not just a game about who can earn more,” he said.

Horcisk, referring to the words of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, reminded that the Visegrad Four region cannot be omitted when it comes to changing and developing the European Union.

“The future of Europe is Central Europe,” the Hungarian politician said and recalled Robert Schuman, the EU’s founding father’s words that “Europe will become Christian or it will not be.”
