Máté Kocsis said ruling Fidesz will launch a signature drive "so that those plotting with Brussels against Hungary should disappear from public life."
Kocsis, the ruling party's group leader, insisted that the opposition Tisza Party had made an alliance with the European People's Party "to harm Hungary". "They have admitted to having hindered hospital renovations and damaging the economy through withholding community funding," Kocsis said.
Tisza is "ready to do anything in return for the rolling euros," the group leader said.
Kocsis encouraged voters to support the signature drive online.
