A festival of Hungarian cuisine and culture will open in Tel-Aviv, Israel today for the third time.
The festival will be opened by Tel-Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, the Hungarian ambassador to Israel Andor Nagy and Debrecen Mayor László Papp.
László Berényi, Hungary’s cultural attaché said the two-day festival will take place in the city’s revamped old port, a popular cultural and entertainment venue.
MTI reports that the Hungarian city of Debrecen, which has recently been connected to Tel-Aviv by a direct flight, is special guest, Berényi said.
Programs will include cooking demonstrations, wine tasting, a cake exhibition and stalls selling Hungarian specialties.
