The national police headquarters (ORFK) has confirmed that 4,861 Ukrainian citizens entered Hungary at the Ukraine-Hungary border on Tuesday, while 4,554 came to the country via Romania.
Police issued temporary residence permits valid for 30 days to 25 people, ORFK said on Wednesday.
