The Visegrád Group has launched its very own V4 Startup Force to help support startups in the region.
The initiative is the first startup scholarship scheme in the Visegrád region and the application process is now open for its first round of support.
According to BBJ, the large-scale scholarship program will be implemented this autumn with the support of the International Visegrád Fund.
The objective of V4 Startup Force is to support collaboration between startups and major corporations within the region, thereby mobilizing business relations between the countries.
Design Terminal, the non-profit, government-backed mentoring agency, has partnered with the Polish MIT Enterprise Forum, the Czech UP21 incubator and the Slovak 0100 Campus international co-working office to launch the initiative.
The concept will see four winners (one from each country) participate in a 10-day, intensive Budapest mentoring program, followed by an eight-day study tour in the Visegrád region.
Applications for the program will be accepted until August 24th. Click here to find out more.
