Bence Rétvári said Brussels has levied fines to an “unprecedented” extent because Hungary is barring the entry of illegal migrants while spending massive amounts to protect the border.

Bence Rétvári said the new law aimed to “close all loopholes” and prevent migrants from arriving in Hungary, even as guest workers.

Bence Rétvári said coordination talks on the migration draft continued between the European Commission, the Council and the EP.
Bence Rétvári said no tangible steps had been taken in the protection of the EU’s external borders and the EU only made the activities of people smugglers easier by “an automatic acceptance of migrants”, quotas and its migration pact.
