Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has announced that France supports Hungary’s EU Presidency program, which is focused on strengthening the European economy.
The two leaders will assess the goals of Hungary’s rotating EU presidency starting next week.

Gergely Gulyás said that without a “stamp” of approval, the EU would not have released a large part of the funding it owed to Hungary.
Minister Szijjártó said Hungary would not send troops to Ukraine “under any circumstances” and was also sticking to its decision against delivering weapons.
“We insist on our position urging a ceasefire and call on the warring sides to start peace talks,” said Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
PM Orbán voted in support of extra funding for migration in the EU budget and continues to support it.
The two leaders will discuss issues on the agenda of the European Council meeting on December 14 and 15.
The prime minister also stressed that Hungary wants an immediate ceasefire and peace talks in Ukraine.
Today's meeting will be held in preparation for an EU summit late in March.
