Tristan Azbej said Hungary had opened its borders to more than one million Ukrainian refugees and provided asylum for hundreds of thousands.
Hungary is helping Egypt manage the influx of refugees from Gaza by providing the country with medical supplies and financial aid.
Aid worth 30 million forints (EUR 80,860) will be delivered to Ukraine and the rest provided for refugees staying in Hungary.

Minister Szijjártó told the European Humanitarian Forum that the government’s humanitarian strategy was determined by the proximity of the war in Ukraine and Hungary’s over thousand-year Christian statehood.
Minister Szijjártó expressed his sympathies to Turkey over the earthquakes on Feb. 6, which killed over 50,000 people in southeast Turkey and Syria.
