State Secretary Bence Rétvári said the European Parliament has continued to submit pro-migration proposals to the migration pact to include in it an increasing number of exemptions on whom to grant easier entry to the territory of the European Union. Speaking at a press conference after a meeting of EU interior ministers in Brussels, Rétvári said coordination talks on the migration draft continued between the European Commission, the Council and the EP. “The EU’s law-making body tries to soften up and make the draft more migrant-friendly and the European Commission wants to push it through before the European Parliament elections at all cost,” Rétvári said.
